Jesters and Clowns

Characters of clowns and jesters have one thing in common – they know how to make the audience laugh. While jester, or buffoon if you want, was a servant of aristocrats in the medieval times and his task was to entertain courtiers and also the king or queen, clown is the character more related to circus or variety shows.
